Adam Johnson's Career

Adam Johnson's professional career begun on the 6th July 2017 when he signed his entry level contract to the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins. He didn't play his first season in the NHL instead he spent it in the minors (the AHL) with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins where he skated for 70 games putting up 31 points which was seen as a good number for a player who was not drafted.

He would finally get the call up and he would get to play in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins, it was six games seeing him assist two goals in that time before returning to the AHL to play 67 games putting up a higher 43 points
