At the start of last week, the future of the Fife Flyers remained uncertain, with no new bidders publicly emerging. However, that changed when Lee Mercer expressed his interest in taking over the team.

If successful, Mercer would move the Flyers to the NIHL, as reported by Allan Crow in the Fife Free Press (linked below). His article also mentions the possibility of two other interested parties.

Since this story originates from A. Crow, we won’t be reporting on it directly. However, we will be publishing an article exploring what a move to the NIHL could mean for the Flyers.
