The Nottingham Panthers welcome the Fife Flyers in a match which is set to be a crucial match. Panthers still chasing second; whilst Flyers look to fight for pride and gain some points to ease the bad finish.

The Nottingham Panthers have had a successful season under Danny Stewart and they now chase the Sheffield Steelers as they hope for a loss on the Steelers end and a win on theirs to gain the extra point to get into second and set a plan to chase the Belfast Giants. Little mistakes sadly cause other teams to play a close game which is costing the team points.

The Fife Flyers have had a horrific season and have been put up for sale and eliminated from the playoffs. Now that fans worries have been put to ease by Lee Mercer’s interest in purchasing the team, they can sit back and watch the club play. The Flyers have played close games with some big teams, last night the Belfast Giants struggled to get a 4-3 win over them. Tonight is the first night in a while that the Fife Flyers have more dressed players than their opposition.

It will be a game of blood, sweat and tears; but both teams fighting for their own goals. Will Fife Flyers upset the Panther organisation or will Panthers extend Flyers losing streak.
